Raed Salah, the leader of the Islamic Movement's northern branch who was arrested in the UK at last month has been freed on bail, AFP reported. Salah has appealed a UK government decision to deport him.

The Islamist activist was detained after entering London last month despite a government ban.

Salah's lawyer said a the beginning of July that his client had been wrongly accused and that he is “a man of peace.” He also accused the UK government of turning its back on the Palestinians.
