Jordan has reportedly postponed the appointment of a new ambassador to Israel for the third time, London-based paper Elaph reported on Tuesday.

King Abdullah reportedly is waiting for the results of the current peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

The previous envoy, Ali Ayed, was named Jordan's minister of information and communications in July, and a new ambassador has not been chosen.
