An IDF soldier was charged on Wednesday with causing intentional damage to a number of F-16 jets at the IAF Ramat David base.

The soldier was accused of destroying property and endangering the security of the state for allegedly removing the lock switches of the planes on two occasions after he failed to repair them, Israel Radio reported.

The indictment stated that the soldier knew that his actions could cause the planes to crash, according to the report.
