A 68-year-old man was in a serious condition on Wednesday after two teenage boys attacked him in south Tel Aviv on Tuesday, Channel Two News reported after obtaining video footage of the assault.

The two youths were walking in the streets drunk, searching for a cigarette when they crossed paths with the man. The boys began beating the man after an argument broke out over a cigarette, as shown in the video footage. The boys threw him to the ground and kicked him multiple times all over his body.

The elderly man was taken to Tel Aviv's Ichilov hospital in a serious condition, and doctors were still fighting for his life.

The police said that the main suspect has a history of violence.
