Tunisian youths sentenced to prison for Mohammed slander

Tunisia sentenced two youths to prison terms for slandering Mohammed, AFP quoted officials as saying Thursday.

"They were sentenced, one of them in absentia, to seven years in prison for transgressing morality, defamation and disrupting public order," ministry spokesman Chokri Nefti told AFP.

The defendants had posted caricatures of the Muslim prophet in the nude onto Facebook.
