New Gaza flotilla expected to arrive in al-Arish, Egypt

IDF to monitor journey of "Gaza aid" expedition embarking from Syrian port; activists include group that participated in May 31 flotilla.

The IDF is monitoring a new 'Gaza aid' flotilla set to leave Syria for the Egyptian port of al-Arish on Monday.
"The IDF is prepared for the flotilla, although it is expected to travel to al-Arish, Egypt rather than try and reach Gaza," an IDF source told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday.

A number of activists involved in Viva Palestina took part in the May 31 Turkish flotilla.
The ships were scheduled to depart on Sunday, but "last-minute complications over entry requirements by Egyptian authorities caused a delay," CNN quoted organizers as saying.
The convoy was joined by activists from Morocco, Algeria, Jordan and Gulf states, organizers said.
