Rocket fire on Friday came a day after a Hamas militant was killed by IDF troops in a "misunderstanding"
A rocket alarm was heard in the Gaza border communities area on Wednesday morning, which was later declared to be a false alarm, according to the IDF.
At around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday night the Iron Dome missile defense system alerted Israelis that rockets were launched from Gaza.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan predictably slammed Israel.

On Monday, a video was released of the incident. The explosion was documented by a nearby security camera.
