Israel's Ambassador to Egypt Yitzhak Levanon said Monday that the Gilad Schalit deal would warm ties between Cairo and Jerusalem, according to Army Radio.
Lebanon also responded to rumors of a possible swap deal for Israeli-American Ilan Grapel, held in Cairo under espionage charges, saying, "I can only hope that, just as we released Gilad Schalit from his captivity, we will release all the rest."
