A resident of Jerusalem's Old City was seriously injured following a shooting in the Abu Tor neighborhood of Jerusalem early Saturday morning, Israel media reported.
Abu Tor is a mixed Jerusalem neighborhood, located about 3.5 kilometers from the Old City.
Police responded to the scene before transferring the victim to a hospital for medical attention after sustaining penetrating injuries.
Police have opened an investigation and continue to search for the suspects. Police believe the incident is criminal in nature.
