Yemen's Houthis say they attacked American ship with naval missiles in Gulf of Aden

Yemen's Houthi movement targeted the American ship Chem Ranger in the Gulf of Aden with naval missiles, the group's military spokesman said early on Friday.

The attack resulted in "direct hits," the spokesman claimed in a statement.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that a retaliation to the American and British attacks is inevitable and that any new aggression will not go unpunished," the statement read.
