Attorney for Rabbi Elon rejects abuse allegations

Yair Golan, Attorney for Rabbi Mordechai "Motti" Elon, said Sunday "a complete review will clarify that Rabbi Elon did not commit any crime, and ultimately will not be indicted.
"The Rabbi cooperated in the investigation, in which he rejected all foul acts. He will continue to fight for the truth and his good name."
Police Sunday finished a re-opened investigation into Rabbi Elon, accused of child molestation several months ago, and found that there was sufficient evidence to connect him to the allegations.
The police submitted the case file to the Jerusalem District Prosecutor's office, and a hearing is expected before any indictment would be issued.
