Barak lawyer: Media 'loves to hate' the defense minister

Defense Minister Ehud Barak's lawyer Ram Casspi said that the media "loves to hate" his client in an interview with Army Radio on Wednesday, following State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss's report.

Casspi said that the media focused disproportionately on the portion of the report saying that Barak's political finance dealings may have been unethical.

"Barak's actions were not in anyway illegal, or did he try to manipulate the system," Casspi told Army Radio. "Everything was completely kosher and the media's interpretation, as usual, did injustice to the man."
