Belgium to extradite suspected Brussels Jewish museum gunman to France

Belgium's federal prosecutors ruled on Thursday that the main suspect in the deadly 2014 shooting at Jewish museum in Brussels can be extradited to France to face terrorism charges, France 24 reported.

French national Mehdi Nemmouche was initially extradited to Belgium from France after he was arrested in Marseilles six day after the shooting that left four dead at the Jewish Museum of Belgium.

According to the Belgian prosecutor's decision Thursday, Belgium can extradite the suspected jihadist back to France once Brussels "no longer needs him."
