Court rules Jerusalem Day march will pass through Muslim Quarter, end early

The High Court of Justice on Sunday conditionally rejected a petition to bar a contested Jewish march marking Jerusalem Day from passing through the Old City's Muslim Quarter.
While plans remained in tact for the controversial "Flag Parade," the court ruled that the march would start 15 minutes earlier than expected, and that by 7:30 p.m. all Jews would need to evacuate the Muslim Quarter.
The court's ruling came after deliberation over a petition filed by the left-wing NGO "Ir Amim," which called for the parade to be banned from the Muslim Quarter.
