C'tee: Let Lindenstrauss file reports after term ends

The Knesset State Control Committee proposed legislation on Monday by which outgoing State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss would be able to continue to release reports he already began up to three months after he leaves office.
The proposed law would apply to reports whose drafts were presented to the involved parties in the three months preceding his departure from the role.
Lindenstrauss's seven-year term as state comptroller was scheduled to end on July 3.
Judge Yosef Shapira will replace Lindenstrauss as Israel's state comptroller.
