Danon asks Cantor to cancel Israeli visa requirement for US

Following failed attempts by the Israeli government to cancel the visa requirement for Israelis to enter the United States, Knesset Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs Committee head Danny Danon (Likud) asked Republican House Majority leader Eric Cantor to try to get the requirement waived in Congress.
Currently Israelis must go through a long diplomatic process and pay a large fee in order to obtain a visa. There are 35 countries whose citizens don't require a visa to enter the US. Danon said there was no reason why South Korea and Andorra were on the list and Israel was not.
