Gal-On: New Jewish housing in Jabal Mukbar undermines peace process

Meretz leader Zahava Gal-On on Tuesday responded to the building of a new Jewish neighborhood in Jabal Mukbar, saying that the Netanyahu government continues to carry out 'Price Tag' actions in the political process, undermining the peace process.

"There will not be a peace agreement if Israel continues to build new settlements," Gal-On stated, adding that it seems like Netanyahu is unable to decide if he is Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde.

"One moment he is sending [Justice Minister] Tzipi Livni to implement peace negotiations with the Palestinians and pledging to move forward with an agreement, and the next he is screeching on the brakes," Gal-On cautioned.
