Imad Faris trial postponed

Brigadier General Imad Faris was put on trial for crimes involving military documents and not fulfilling orders before the head of the Technological and Logistics Directorate, General Danny Biton, on Tuesday evening. However, at the trial, Faris exercised his legal right to request a trial with officers ranking higher than Biton.
Faris, one of the army's highest-ranking Druse officers, was commander of the Galilee Division, which is deployed along the border with Lebanon, for the past two years. Faris resigned from the IDF last year after admitting to lying in a car accident report, but recently asked to return.
