JNF in Australia elects Michael Naphtali as president

The Jewish National Fund in Australia elected Michael Naphtali as its new president at the JNF federal conference in Sydney on Sunday, the Australian Jewish News reported.

Naphtali, who has held the position in the past, was sworn in with a new executive board, as part of several changes designed to bolster the JNF’s fund raising, educational and cultural activities in Australia.

“The only way that organizations can still be effective after 110 years is continually refreshing and reinventing themselves, and so it’s always exciting to be part of that process, ” he told the AJN.
