Judge sets bail for Madoff's former finance chief

NEW YORK — A judge in New York has set bail at $10 million for jailed financier Bernard Madoff's former finance chief.
Judge Richard Sullivan said in a written order Thursday that Frank DiPascali could be freed on bail once strict conditions were met, including provisions for him to be kept at home with electronic monitoring.
DiPascali pleaded guilty in August to helping Madoff's multi-decade Ponzi scheme that cost thousands of investors billions of dollars. Madoff is serving a 150-year prison sentence.
