US Secretary of State John Kerry was expected to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday in Bethlehem as part of ongoing peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Israel Radio reported on Friday.
Kerry's visit was announced amid calls from senior Palestinian officials to break off the talks due to Israel's announcement of plans to build in Jerusalem and the settlement blocs.
