Lebanon at UNSC: Israel violates resolution 1701 daily

The Lebanese representative at the UNSC claimed that while the Lebanese were preparing to celebrate Christmas, they have memories triggered of Israeli aggression and occupation.Lebanon claimed it has witnessed four Israeli invasions in the last 40 years, and that it is not interested in a new conflict. It is committed to resolution 1701.The Lebanese representative called on the UNSC to curb Israeli violations for benefit of peace and calm on border, and said it is worried about double standards as reports of Israeli violations are buried, while those by Israel are adhered to."What Israel sees as self defense is seen as a threat in Beirut," claimed the Lebanese Ambassador.
