Liberman responds to Deri calling DNA Jewry tests are humiliating

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri made comments, echoing the rabbinical court, claiming that DNA tests in order to prove the Jewish heritage of immigrants from the former Soviet Union is the norm.
"DNA tests for immigrants of the Soviet Union is an accepted norm," Deri claimed. "The days when the Absorption Ministry had to deal with immigrants from the Soviet Union is over, it is time for the ministry to deal with immigrants from France and Ethiopia."
Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman decided to respond to Deri's comments by saying that "Yisrael Beytenu will act against the humiliating DNA tests invented by ultra-Orthodox activists, we will take charge of the Interior Ministry and stop the racism and discrimination promoted by the ultra-Orthodox establishment against immigrants from the former Soviet Union."
Liberman also attacked the Establishment of the Rabbinate by saying that "We will promote civil marriage and allow each local authority to decide independently about opening supermarkets on the Sabbath. We will promote Aliyah from everywhere and accept them all with open arms."
