Libyan rebel council says forces ready to move west

BENGHAZI, Libya - The rebel National Libyan Council said on Wednesday rebel forces in the east were ready to move westwards if Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi refused to step down.Asked if eastern forces would move west if Gaddafi holds out for long, a council spokesman said: "Definitely yes.
