Meridor: Obama speech shows strong US, Israel bond

MK Dan Meridor (Likud) said that US President Barack Obama's speech at AIPAC shows the strong bond between Israel and the United States, Israel Radio said. Meridor said the US and Israel understand their shared interests regarding the conflict with the Palestinians, and the appropriate solution with which to solve it.Meridor stressed that while understanding of the issue runs deep between the US and Israel, the Palestinians remain on another page. The Likud MK said that the ultimate goal is a peaceful solution to the conflict, but that this is still a long way away.
