A mother of four was murdered in her home in Um el-Fahm on Monday, police said.
The woman, in her 30s, was found in her bed in critical condition by paramedics, and rushed to the Ha'emek Medical Center, where died of her injuries soon afterward.
Police said several directions were being investigated.
Large numbers of police arrived on the scene, and forensic officers scoured the murder scene.
The incident took place in Um el-Fahm's Iben Lehem neighborhood.
