Prof. Michael Schwartz to receive Israel Prize

Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar, announced Tuesday that Professor Michael Schwartz would receive the Israel Prize for Israel Studies in 2010. Sa'ar called Schwartz and congratulated him on his win.
Prof. Schwartz is a world renowned expert in Medieval Jewish and Muslim philosophy, a chief work of his being an annotated translation of Medieval Spanish-born Jewish philosopher Maimonides's Guide for the Perplexed.
