Report: Hamas, Islamic Jihad deny Eilat attack involvement

Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad both denied any connection to the recent rocket attacks on Eilat and Aqaba, Channel 2 reported on Monday evening.
"There is no connection between us, directly or indirectly, to the rockets," Channel 2 quoted senior Hamas operative Salah al-Bardawil as saying. "Israel is looking for a justification to increase its attacks on the Gaza Strip."
PIJ leader Khaled al-Battash also denied any connection between his group and the attacks. "It is very difficult to transport rockets from Gazan territory into Sinai," Channel 2 quoted Battash as saying.
