Residence visa for nanny of child in Mumbai 2008 attack

The nanny of the young boy who survived the Mumbai 2008 attacks in India has been given temporary resident status in Israel by Interior Minister Eli Yishai.
Sandra Samuel was the Indian nanny who worked for Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg, two Lubavitch emissaries who ran and were killed in the Chabad house in Mumbai that was attacked by terrorists in November 2008.
Samuel managed to spirit their son, Moishe, away to safety during the attack, saving his life.
"This is a humanitarian gesture that was requested for a person who saved a Jewish life," said Yishai.
