Supreme Court refuses Katsav extension to file appeal

The Supreme Court refused a request by former president Moshe Katsav's legal team on Monday for a further extension to the deadline for filing their application for an additional appeal hearing before an expanded panel of justices.The decision came after Supreme Court registrar Guy Shani agreed last week to allow the former president until January 29th to file his application.
