Three explosions heard in Libyan capital, Tripoli

TRIPOLI - Three explosions were heard in the Libyan capital on Friday and columns of black smoke were seen rising from the direction of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's central Bab Al Aziziya compound, a Reuters reporter said.
The apparent air strikes by the NATO-led military alliance occurred about two hours after Gaddafi vowed to stay on in an audio address broadcast on Libyan television to tens of thousands of supporters who gathered in Tripoli's Green Square.
