Twin accused of murdering her sister sentenced to 6 years in prison

Shiri Sobol was sentenced to six years in prison for involvement in the murder of her twin sister Hili in February 2016, Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court decided on Tuesday.
David Eran, Shiri's boyfriend at the time of the murder, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and NIS 258,000 in damages.
Shiri was convicted of soliciting sabotage with aggravated intent and with assistance after the fact, while Eran was convicted of murder.
At the time of the murder, Shiri called the police to report her sister being stabbed outside their apartment in Tel Aviv. After arriving at the scene, the police discovered many inconsistencies with her statement and found Eran hiding in the apartment.
