Water deficit in aquifers improves slightly after rains

The water level in the mountain and coastal aquifers went up slightly over the past few months, the Water Authority said Tuesday. The aquifers provide two thirds of Israel's fresh water.Levels were about a half to a meter higher than the same period last year.
