World Zionist Organization Chairman and acting Jewish Agency head Yaakov Hagoel said in The Jerusalem Post 10th Annual Conference on Tuesday he respects Intelligence Minister Elazar Stern's decision to withdraw his candidacy in the race for the Jewish Agency chairmanship.
Stern announced the withdrawal on Tuesday following a scandal over his shredding complaints in the IDF.
