On This Day: Nazis liquidate Vilnius Ghetto, slaughter Lithuanian Jews

Lithuania lost around 95% of its Jewish population during the Holocaust, more than any other country. The day is marked as their National Memorial Day for the Genocide Victims of Lithuanian Jews.
