A 42-year-old man who collapsed while running last week's Tel Aviv Marathon died on Monday.According to doctors at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, the man experienced liver failure after suffering from heat stroke.RELATED:From Belgium to Tel Aviv, all for the love of runningPremium: Winners on wheelsFifteen participants in the Tel Aviv Marathon were brought to Ichilov Hospital for treatment Friday.Among them, three were in critical condition, two of whom were treated for heat stroke, while the third suffered a heart attack.Two runners were hospitalized in moderate condition, one suffering a broken rib and the other from low blood-sugar levels. Ten others were treated for light injuries caused by dehydration.More than 15,000 people participated in the Tel Aviv Marathon Friday morning, Army Radio reported. Race winner Jospat Kikenboy, hailing from Kenya, finished the full marathon (42 kilometers) in two hours and 19 minutes.
