The concert in the city of El-Alamein had few attendees after the BDS movement protested the event: “The provocative singer also performed in occupied Palestine.”
Jennifer Lopez defies BDS calls in Israel and Egypt.
J.Lo, and her almost equally well-known and similarly nicknamed beau, future baseball hall of famer Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) made the most of their few days in Israel last week.
J-Lo didn't just come to work though, and made sure to travel and enjoy her time in the Holy Land with her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, and Lopez's and A-Rod's children.
The Latina star from the Bronx turned 50-years-old on July 24th and celebrated the milestone with a 38-show tour, six in international cities beginning with Tel Aviv and ending in St. Petersburg
A-Rod tweeted asking where the next international destination for the Major League Baseball series should be.
There is barely audible audio with the clip, but JLo seems to be saying, "The sea is insane."
"I’m going to Israel, so I am so excited, it’s my first time.”
You’re all invited to my concert in Tel Aviv,” JLo (as she is known around the world) informed Israeli fans last week in a video backed by the strains of her 2011 hit song “On the Floor.”
The BDS group has also presented a petition calling for the artist to boycott Israel in all its forms.
