14 Jewish Orthodox teens accused of 'price tag' attacks released to house arrest

The 14 Orthodox Jewish teens, who were arrested on Sunday for participating in 'price tag' attacks against Israeli Arab in east Jerusalem, were released to house arrest on Wednesday.
The teens, between the ages of 13-16, confessed to planning and engaging in at least 20 hate crimes, police said.
"The quick release of the teens is a testimony to the fact the police rushed to make empty statements of achievement," one of the teens' parents said.
"Our kids were not committing crimes, they were involved in pranks that the police blew out of proportions," he added.
