2 employees of Jordanian Embassy briefly detained by police

Two employees of the Jordanian Embassy were briefly detained in Givataim on Tuesday afternoon after arousing the suspicions of detectives.
Police, who were carrying out undercover operations in the area, asked the two men to identify themselves after they had entered a shop in the area, Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.
The men produced "various identification documents," including passports and papers," Rosenfeld said.
The men were then released and told to leave the area. Police, together with other agencies, are examining the incident closely, Rosenfeld added.
Claims that had been circulated earlier that the men were beaten were "completely false," Rosenfeld said.
