BBC: Turkish authorities 'intimidate' journalists

The BBC on Monday expressed concern for its journalists in Turkey who have been the subjects of a campaign by the Turkish authorities to "intimidate" its reporters.
The BBC website cited a statement by BBC Global News Director Peter Horrocks that quoted him as saying, "a large number of threatening messages have been sent to one of our reporters".
Horrocks was cited as adding that BBC journalists should not be targeted so that they can provide "impartial and independent journalism".
