Defense Minister Ehud Barak said on Thursday that an Iranian acceptance of the international proposal to ship out 70 percent of its enriched uranium to Russia for further enrichment would delay Teheran's uranium enrichment program by approximately a year, but stressed that a total cessation of enrichment in Iran should be insisted upon.
The unfolding deal would be de-facto recognition of Iran's right to enrich uranium on its soil, Barak added in an interview with Israel Radio.
