Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make an official visit to Damascus next week, the Syrian news agency reported on Wednesday evening. Erdogan will meet with Syrian Prime Minister Naji Otri to discuss issues related to strategic cooperation between the two countries. Also on Wednesday, Jordanian King Abdullah II arrived in Damascus to formally offer condolences to Syrian President Bashar Assad, whose younger brother Majd passed away on Saturday.
