Gaddafi calls on tribes to oust rebels from Tripoli

Embattled Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi called on tribes from throughout Libya to march to Tripoli in order to save the capital from rebel fighters besieging the city, Al-Jazeera reported overnight Sunday.
In an audio message from Gaddafi broadcast on Libya state television, he called on the tribes "to defend and purify Tripoli...or become slaves of the imperialists."
