Supply of natural gas to parts of the country's south was halted on Thursday morning due to technical issues that emerged at the Tamar gas rig east of Ashkelon, the Ministry of Environmental protection reported.

According to the ministry, the incident is being looked into and no concerns of pollution have been raised as a result.
