Hundreds protest opposition arrests in Turkey

Hundreds protested the arrests for conspiracy against the government of members of Turkey's opposition in Istanbul on Saturday, Army Radio reported.

The protesters were also demonstrating against a government plan for a referendum which would seek to make changes to Turkey's constitution. According to the protesters, the proposed changes would increase government influence on the country's courts.
