IDF forces, during an attempt to disperse a riot in the West Bank city of Tulkarm on Tuesday, shot and injured a Palestinian man. According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, some 170 Palestinians in the city participated in the demonstration that included the throwing of firebombs.

The IDF forces attempted to disperse the crowd using riot dispersal methods, but when this failed they opened fire at the lower extremities of the rioters resulting in the injury of the Palestinian man.

It was not clear what condition he was in.
