Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Sunday that "the US and its puppets should never doubt that the Iranian nation will resist their nuclear plots more strongly than ever."

Larijani was addressing an open session of the Iranian parliament, and referring to the United Nations Security Council's decision to impose sanctions on Iran as a result of its refusal to to cooperate on nuclear matters.

Larijani complained that the US had encouraged Turkey and Brazil to seek a compromise, and been notified of negotiations.  The US eventually rejected the agreement Iran reached with Turkey and Brazil, and Larijani cited this as proof that the US was deceiving the world.
