Costumed characters visited the Knesset on Tuesday in honor of Blue and White Day, sponsored by the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry to encourage the purchase of products manufactured in Israel.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin spoke at a Knesset Blue and White Day event, calling on business owners not to allow foreigners to take control of their companies.

"We cannot use the slogan 'buy blue and white' only as a way to promote sales. Even in the global era, Israelis must remain in control" of Israeli companies," Rivlin said
