Labor MK Shaffir demands Herzog 'go home' for being 'used' by Netanyahu

Zionist Union MK Stav Shaffir is calling on party leader Isaac Herzog to resign after it was learned that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in talks with Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman on expanding his ruling coalition.
On her social media platforms, Shaffir wrote that Netanyahu "used Herzog in order to bring Liberman into the government."
"It was only yesterday that Herzog tried to persuade us that Netanyahu had changed and that he was willing to take advantage of 'a historic opportunity' to reach a diplomatic settlement [with the Palestinians]," Shaffir wrote.
"This is the same Netanyahu who for a decade is trying to fool the world over his supposed commitment to the vision of two states," she wrote. "Is the only thing separating Netanyahu from a diplomatic settlement is Isaac Herzog by his side?"
