Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman memorialized the brutal slaying of the Fogel family Wednesday by writing on his Facebook page, "Today we remember the terrorist attack that killed ....  five members of the Fogel family, parents Udi and Ruth, children Yoav, Elad and baby Hadas- may the Lord avenge their blood."

He went on to write, "It must be clear and known, as both a method of retribution and deterrence"  that the criminal act of terrorism will be punishable by death.

In March of 2011,  five members of the Fogel family were attacked and murdered in their home in the Itamar settlement located in the West Bank. According to Shin Bet findings, two teens, 18-year-old Hakem Awwad and 19-year-old Amjad Awwad, carried out the crime based on their own convictions and without direction by any specific political or terrorist organization.
